Cleanings & Exams

Most patients know how important regular brushing and flossing is for their dental and oral health. However, it is also essential to visit us for routine dental exams to ensure your smile is as healthy as possible and to catch any developing issues early. That’s why we offer oral examinations, teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments, and gum disease treatment. We take a comprehensive approach in making sure your teeth and gums maintain optimal health.

All imaging we complete in our office is fully digital. Digital x-rays expose patients to significantly less radiation than traditional x-rays. Plus, they produce images much more quickly, meaning less time spent waiting…it’s a win-win all around! We use the most advanced imaging system on the market, allowing us to detect even the tiniest and most difficult-to-see issues. This allows us to be more accurate in our diagnoses and to provide you with more effective treatment.

Dental Implants

Having missing teeth can alter your smile’s alignment, as well as leave you more susceptible to gum disease, jawbone loss, and difficulties chewing and speaking properly. A gapped smile can also impact your confidence

A possible solution? Dental implants.

An implant is a titanium post surgically inserted into the gums where the root of the tooth used to be. It melds to your jawbone to create a new “root” for the artificial tooth, bridge, or denture. Implants help preserve your jawbone and facial appearance while creating a stable foundation for replacement teeth. The result is a natural-looking smile.

Dental implants are more secure than dentures, and they don’t require preparation of the surrounding teeth as bridges do. They allow patients to chew, speak, and smile with more confidence, leading to a higher quality of life!

However, to be a candidate for dental implants, you must be a non-smoker and have strong, sufficient jawbone. We will discuss your options with you and determine if this treatment is right for you.

Endodontics refers to root canal treatment. A root canal may sound scary, but with our usage of the latest technology, you can rest assured you will experience minimal discomfort—in fact, a root canal will alleviate your tooth pain! This treatment is necessary when you have an infection that has reached the pulp of the tooth. The pulp contains the nerves of the tooth, which is why a patient may experience significant pain in a tooth requiring a root canal. During the procedure, we remove the infected pulp, seal it with a medicated material that prevents further damage, and restore the tooth’s strength and appearance with a crown.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

In the past, it used to take several appointments to take impressions for a crown, create the crown, and then place it in the smile. CEREC is a digital technology that allows us to create and place custom crowns all in just one visit! Using a digital impression of your smile, this technology creates a crown that is custom-shaped and colored to blend in seamlessly in your smile. Then, we place the crown, restoring your smile when it has been affected by decay or trauma. No need for multiple appointments—save time, stress, and money with the help of CEREC CAD/CAM technology!

Sedation Dentistry

For patients who require significant dental treatment or who are particularly nervous, we offer sedation dentistry options. We want you to feel relaxed, and at ease, so you can receive the treatments you need for your best oral health. Dr. Friedman can discuss our sedation options with you and determine what will be best in your case.
